Jack & Jill

Jack and Jill didn’t go up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Although, perhaps they oughta

Jack had mischief on his mind
That's why Jill followed behind
To see what she could find

Reaching the top Jack looked around
And much to his surprise he found
Jill already lying on the ground

The Saga of Bo-Peep

Little Bo-Peep has had no sleep
She has no clue when she’ll get any
Because when Bo-Peep left home
Absentmindedly she forgot her comb
Now she has tangled hair of mahogany

Jerry Had a Little Clam

Jerry found a little clam
When the tide was low
And every time that Jerry looked
On a rock he surely kicked his toe

Humpty Dumpty's Dilemma!

Humpty Dumpty had a lot of gall
Humpty went looking for a brawl
And when the crowd left
Humpty became quite bereft
Finding himself all alone
And all he could do was groan

  1. Much more better than the ones I remember.

  2. Hahahahaha! I decided a sprucing up was needed, EC! ;)

  3. ...
Jill, the dill, forgot the pill
And now they have a daughter.

  4. Hahahahahaha...Cosmo...I love it!!

  5. Don't think I'll send those versions to the grandkids! Which isn't to say I didn't get a kick out of them....

  6. G'day Molly, Debra and Pat.

Why should the kids have all the fun? ;)

  7. LOL How many glasses of wine did the composer consume. Peace

  8. Hahahahaha! None, Lady Di! Perhaps I should...that's a thought!!! ;)

  9. Lee, Me thinks nursery rymes down there are a bit different than here or maybe it's just you. teehee
The aspargus recipes look good but I'll pass on the kangaroo. I'm afraid it could make me jumpy.
Marilyn raises a lot of asparagus and we love it many ways but I'll have to admit 'creamed' is my favorite.

  10. I think it's just me, Cliff...they only let me out after dark!! ;)

I've eaten kangaroo, but I could care less whether I ate it again or not. It's a very healthy meat to's very lean.

Nice to see you, as always, Cliff...thanks for calling by. :)
