Miracles Do Happen!
Remember you heard it here first that 'miracles do happen'!
The Poms won the one-day cricket match yesterday! My! Oh! My! And the poor old 'Barmy-Army' have already given up and returned back to 'Ole Blighty' with their tails and trumpet behind them!
Well, I guess we had to allow them that one game in an attempt to help them resurrect some semblance of pride.
Hi, Lee. I'll remember where I heard it first! It's a rare person who can get me interested in sports news but you manage it!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't a victory. It was an "intervention."
ReplyDeleteThe psychologists suggested it to prevent a mass suicide of Pommie Cricket fans.
lol Welsh....it was written in fun...sort of! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou could be correct, Don! I'm not sure if the psychologists were quick enough off the mark, though! ;)
C'mon Lee, for the first time this season they beat us fair and square, give 'em their moment in the sun.
ReplyDeleteMoi? Nevaaaaahhhh! ;)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe my ears when I heard it on the news...there will be no stopping them now (ha! dreams are free...lol!)
ReplyDeleteHehehehehehehe, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteHi Lee ~~ Yes that was nothing short of a miracle. I could hardly believe it. I
ReplyDeleteguess our boys may have got too complacent, but now to finish it all off with us the champions!!! Love, Merle.
Well, Symonds got injured, Merle and couldn't continue on which was a blow. I just heard on the news he's being operated on and looks like he won't be in the Tri-Series, nor the World Cup or whatever its.
ReplyDeleteSymonds?! He's my favorite Aussie player! That guy can run like no one else. Boundaries in his area are either 6's or stopped.
ReplyDeleteOh, wait! I just checked Drudge. It seems that the Aussie team went to the wrong site, and the Brits got to play for 32 overs before you Ozzies arrived.
Had the wind been blowing the other way, you probably still could've overcome them.
