Gore Is a Bore!

I watched a little of Gore on 'Enough Rope' last night. I believe, give Gore enough rope, he will hang himself!

I find him to be a huge bore as he tries to mesmerise his audiences into believing his spiel about climate change...it's more likely he's boring them to sleep than mesmerising them.

Climate has been changing for millions of years. Gore's beating a dead horse and ignoring truths about climate that are inconvenient to his and his fellow believers' bandwagon of scare mongering.

Some predict that rainfall in Australia will decrease, but data proves Australia was wetter during the second half of the 20th century than the first half.

Ice cores recovered from Greenland and Antarctica have confirmed the ice sheets have survived changes over millions of years previously and will likely continue to do so over the next million or so years.

Climate is not stable...never has been and never will be...it's changing all the time. Here we are in the 21st century and scientists still have limited knowledge of many of its aspects.

Gore is not a scientist. He is just a man who got pipped at the post, had to find another job and who is presently peddling his money-making wheel. Gore is more like the door-to-door salesmen of yore. And most took what they said with a grain of salt!

  1. Hello Lee, thank you for visiting and for your comment. I really understand how you feel.

I note you live on Mt Tamborine, I live in Greenbank, not that far away.

Your blog is most interesting. I have read through your posts with great enjoyment...telling Germaine Greer to stick her head in a cabbage lol. Your recipes are pretty yummy, too. I'm a cat fan as well but only have one child at the moment by name of Oscar, who is very good about not chasing the maggies when I feed them.

Anyway, I hope you drop in again.

    Take care, Robyn.

  2. Thank you, Robyn...I'm glad you enjoy my blog. It's been years since I've been to Greenbank...I had friends living there years ago. It's changed a lot by now, I imagine. At that stage, they were on 10 or 20 acres and had no neighbours around them.

  3. Very good comments on the environment. You know that I'm on the same side as you, when it comes to InVirusMentalists.

  4. That I do, Don.

One point no one wants to raise is the cutting down of trees...the rampant clearing of forests to put in concrete and bitumen. I may be wrong...I may be old-fashioned in some of my beliefs, but I believe the wide, free-wheeling felling of trees is why our rainfall is diminishing. I could be wrong...even I can admit under severe torture that I'm sometimes wrong! ;)

  5. In the US, we plant more than we cut, much of it for the purpose of harvesting it later. We actually have more acreage of forests now than when the country was founded, I've read. It has to do with wildfires burning unabated in the past, so those forests are no longer lost to lightning and storms.

I do believe that men are heating the earth, but not by "greenhouse gases." We are generating heat by living and working. Anytime something converts energy from one form to another, it gives off heat as a byproduct.

So, global warming might be occuring, but not because of a blanket of CO2, which coincidentally would require us to go back to the stone age like the InVirusMentalists really want.

The modern "Sky is Falling Crowd" are nothing more than Modern Day Luddites opposed to everything having to do with modern civilization. They are no better than anarchists. They just get better publicity.
