LOVE IS….

Sunday, 27th November, 2022 my heart shattered into a million pieces.   It will never be completely mended.

My beloved Remy, my male cat, passed away. A tsunami of tears have flowed, and continue to flow at will, unabated.

Remy, and his sister Shama, turned 20 years old on 4th November, 2022.

Shama and I are comforting each other. She misses Remy very much, too. Shama is being very clinging, talkative, and frequently howls out loudly and at length.

'Tis a very sad household in which we dwell....the hole in my heart will never be filled....I loved Remy more than any words can describe...

    2. I’m not sure what’s going on here - anyway….I did not write rely. Remy was your friend and companion and you will miss him greatly

  6. Oh no, so sorry Lee that you lost your beautiful Remy such a gorgeous looking creature.. Wow what an age, that is wonderful, all that love you gave.
When we lose one of our animals it's similar to losing a child because our animals are family. :)
    Take care.

  7. I'm so sorry for the pain of losing you beloved cat. The paintings are beautiful. You were so lucky to have her as a companion. It is so hard to know that our pets will most likely go on before we do and when we love on them every day we know that fact but we want them anyway. Sorry again!

  9. I know exactly how you feel. We lost our dog this year - he was like my grandchild. I will send up a prayer - I am so so so sorry.

  11. What a huge, empty hole you will have in your life, Lee. I'm glad you have Shama to go through your grieving with you. Your life will be enriched with the love he left behind.

  14. So sorry for your loss, Lee, and there is little to say to offer words of comfort except to say that I have been in the same position when my cat, Sambuca, died years ago. Sadly, she developed feline leukemia at only 7 years of age. Remy did have many more than nine lives, so lucky for him and you.
